  • NETWORK ISP MANAGER - Johannesburg
    Salary Highly Negotiable + Benefits
    Our client who is part of the National Payments System of South Africa and servicing in the financial industry, including banking institutions requires experience as a Network ISP Manager. Proven experience in a similar position is essential requirement of the position. The main purpose of the Network ISP Manager is to manage internal and external expectation for the MNS network service delivery from deployment to operational day to day running. The Network ISP Manager will manage the respective vendors and third parties on a day to day basis ensuring delivery runs smoothly and in accordance with specified timelines.
    Key stakeholders the Network ISP Manager will engage with:
    • External clients, third parties, vendors and more
    • Internal clients i.e. business areas, products, development, testing, project, office support teams, security, risk, architecture operations
    Qualifications and Experience
    • Diploma in Network Specialist
    • CCNA, CCNP, CCIE written
    • Proficient in Microsoft operating systems and Office packages including VISIO – essential.
    Experienced Required
    • 6 years’ Network experience in a high availability environment
    • 6 years’ general computer experience in servers, storage and end points
    • 5 years’ working experience with the application of the following areas within a Network: Security , Voice, Wireless, Monitoring, VPN, R&S, NEXUS, MPLS, Protocols, Logging, clustering
    • 6 years‘ vendor management
    • 6 years; SLA and contract management
    • 6 years escalations management – essential requirement
    Duties and Responsibility
    • Contributes to budget setting and control of costs, financial management.
    • Deliver on internal and external SLA’s stakeholder engagement
    • Strategic Alignment, contribute to and advice on clients strategy, demonstrate innovation and pioneering thinking in area of expertise and translate this into business process/ solutions/ working practice improvements
    • Risk management: Network support, networked support, Audit, Security, System integration, Cross technology
    • Security management: Audit, Products, Technology from Desktop to storage, Incident management, System integration, Cross technology integration, Architecture principles, Design vs. operation functionality , Network support, Expectations management, SLA management
    • Compliance and Risk management, ensure that the team stays abreast of technical skills and industry developments
