    A Company that specialises in IT based in Midrand is looking for a Sales Manager to join their team.
    Job Description
    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
     To ensure profitability of the division through effective planning and achieving allocated sales targets on a monthly and quarterly basis
     Manage and drive the Midrand sales team
     Achieving monthly, quarterly and yearly budgets
     Developing and implementing business strategies and plans
     Managing business processes
     Managing internal and external relationships
     Ensure relationship with customers are developed and maintained
     Manage performance of employees
     Strategic decision making and implementation
     Tracking of monthly activity on key opportunities and help close deals
     Management of internal systems, processes and policies specific to business unit operation
     Successful engagement and deal generation at an end user level
     Budget implementation, negotiation and tracking
     Develop and present training as well as mentoring of staff
     Attend industry functions to enhance existing relationships
     Ensure that all projects are planned and executed on a professional level, invoicing on projects followed through i.e. GRV’d and customers invoiced correctly and timeously
     Assist with requests for quotations and tender information
     Liaise with product managers and ensure they understand buying correctly from supplier
     Managing day to day processing of accounts receivable and payable

    REQUIREMENTS
     Matric with mathematics is essential, a Sales and Marketing tertiary qualification and/or relevant diploma is essential
     5 years’ working experience within a sales environment
     Previous sales experience within an IT distribution environment will be an advantage
     Previous sales experience within a security environment is preferred
     Above average computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
     Passion for technology and ability to learn new products
     Experience in interacting with senior decision makers
     Copes effortlessly within a high stress and pressurized environment i.e. ability to handle pressure
     Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers as well as have a grasp of different cultures
     Excellent presentation skills and public speaking skills
     Strong negotiation skills at all levels within a business environment
     Ability to complete a task with minimum supervision
     Mature outgoing personality, energetic go getter with will to succeed
     Excellent oral and written communications skills
     Customer focused and delivering above average customer service i.e. customer satisfaction principles and practices
     Service quality orientated
     Deadline and results driven
     Good time management and well organized
     Willing to go the extra mile
     Ability to show initiative
     Driver’s license and own transport is essential
