  • Sales Order Administrator (Assistant), required for Blue Chip International group based in Fourways, Gauteng, R16,000.00, Med, Prov and Annual Bonus
    REQUIREMENTS :
    PC literate with good Excel skills
    Team player with strong communication skills
    Can work well under pressure
    Previous experience in an import/export environment an advantage but not a pre-requisite
    FUNCTIONS:
    1) Sales & Logistics
    • Maintenance and Update of customer ordering system
    • Liaise with various international counterparts and suppliers on a daily basis to confirm order status, shipping schedule, document status, etc.
    • Liaise with customers on a daily basis – communicate status of orders, follow-up on receipt of all documentation; follow-up on payment of goods; follow-up on receipt of goods; follow-up on customer satisfaction level and follow-up on if technical assistance is required
    • Liaise with various shipping agents and shipping lines on a daily basis – to track customer shipments, ensure shipping documentation is correct; ensure the shipping schedules are maintained and ensure goods are cleared with ease at the port.
    2) Administrative tasks
    • Prepare sales entries and issue supporting documents
    • Perform month-end tasks in conjunction with finance section and evaluate departmental monthly figures.
    • Process and analyze various raw material statistics
    3) General Office Administration
    Filling, record keeping, arranging of courier services (documents + samples)
    Take on ad hoc responsibilities, e.g. travel arrangements, travel expense reports, market research, etc.
