    HR Information Systems IT Analyst
    Global Shared Services Centre of a leading international LAW FIRM seeking a highly analytical IT Support Analyst in the People Department, the purpose of this role is to undertake administration relating to their people management systems, to provide regular reporting and analysis of the data therein and support to users transitioning to greater self-service.
    The People Systems team have a global remit for implementing and supporting the company’s People , the firm's people information management system, provided by Workday. Additionally, the team is responsible for producing reports and
    management information, reward analysis and the annual compensation cycle, as well as supporting other third party cloud based applications for the London People team which include flexible benefits and holiday bookings.
    The successful candidate must have:
    • Matric
    • Degree-qualified, or equivalent
    • Minimum 6-12 months corporate/ commercial experience within a professional services environment
    • Business, Information Systems or Mathematics oriented degree (desired)
    • Sound practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)
    • Good analytical skills (analysis of client expectations as well as analysis of data)
    • Good inter-personal skills - especially written and verbal communications. Able to explain concepts clearly to users across the globe.
    • Mindset and aptitude for IT
    • Operating hours are: 8.30am to 5.00pm but additional hours may be needed from time to time
    Your busy and challenging day will include but not limited to:
    • Manage the day to day running of the company’s People, our global people information management system.
    • Providing first line support to end users in response to support queries and performing routine housekeeping data functions such as regular audit data integrity checks
    • Provide an accurate and timely response to requests for survey submissions and other ad-hoc reporting requirements, including internal and external data requests (e.g. business pitches)
    • Supporting integrations between the company’s People and other third party applications
    • Testing of proposed changes to the company’s People (e.g. security, configuration or business processes) and assisting with mass updates
    • Assist with the deployment of system updates provided by Workday which includes testing new releases against existing configuration, reviewing training materials and business processes
    • Provide support in the running of the online holiday booking system (TeamSeer). This includes dealing with ad hoc queries and leading on the year-end holiday rollover/setting up the system for the forthcoming holiday year
    • Other ad hoc projects, as required.
