    The Johannesburg Global Business Services Centre (GBSC) Document Production department offers a professional, document production and proof reading service globally.
    Focused on quality, reliability and expertise, it is set apart by its delivery of excellence; whilst ensuring client needs are met and where possible, exceeded. It is a busy, deadline driven service environment where accuracy and client service are paramount. Reporting in to the Secretarial Services Operations Manager, the newly created dynamic and supportive team based in Johannesburg GBSC is made up of highly skilled and professional specialists in proof reading and
    document production. Working together to support all the offices, you will be working with a wide range of people to provide a consistently high level of client satisfaction, where the work will be both challenging and rewarding.

    • Matric
    • Bachelor's degree in English or equivalent
    • 2 years or more experience in document production
    • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft package: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, DocXTools, Big Hand or any other audio program
    • Litera (an advantage)
    • Nuance / Adobe (an advantage)
    • Fast accurate typing (both audio and copy typing) 60-65 wpm
    • Experience in house style documents (an advantage)
    • Experience in corrupted documents (an advantage)
    • Excellent attention to detail including spelling, accuracy and grammar
    • Willing to work a 24/7 shift pattern
    • Transcription through digital dictation
    • Document production and manipulation, including checking and returning own work directly to the internal client
    • Checking own work and colleague's to ensure that quality is never compromised, as required.
    • Understand and adhere to house style and processes for returning work
    • Effectively and positively communicate with the client to manage deadlines as necessary and to confirm instructions
    • Ensure any renegotiation of an impending deadline is made at least one hour before the original deadline request
    • Assist with assigning work as required by the business in line with agreed processes
    • Be proactive in identifying opportunities to improve/develop the service to internal clients and highlight these to the Manager
    • Effectively participate as a team player and assist others as required
    • Share best practices within the department
    • Attend and make use of all training offered; continuous development of skills and keeping abreast of new innovative document production tools
    • Accurately record all time within the designated workflow system
    • Adhere to the Document Production team processes, security policies and procedures
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
    • Positive attitude and ability to remain calm and professional at all times
    • Excellent time management skills
    • Ability to apply common sense understanding when carrying out instructions furnished orally or in writing
    • Ability to adapt to client and business requirements
    • Responsible with a strong work ethic
    • Motivated and proactive approach to solve problems
    • Strong team player
