    Sales Representative (Sales)
    Location: Kaysends

    Our client in the Manufacturing Department is looking for a Sales Representative.
    Summary of functions:
    • Manage all business aspect by acquiring new clients and servicing existing clients in allocated territories.
    • Achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within the assigned territory and/ or market segment by effectively selling the company’s products.
    • Personally, contact and secure new business accounts/ customers.

    Key responsibilities:
    • Promotes, sells the organization’s products and secures orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach
    • Makes telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers
    • Develops clear and effective written proposals/ quotations for current and prospective customers
    • Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints regarding orders
    • Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/ market segment to generate new business for the organization’s products
    • Taking and processing orders
    • Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas
    • Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, finance, logistics and technical service groups

    Qualifications:
    • Post-Matric
    • Further studies in Marketing/ICT/Engineering is preferred
    • Minimum 5 years minimum working experience in Industrial sales
    • Telecom, Plastic piping, ICT, Civil industry will be an advantage
    • PC Literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Pastel
    • Excellent communication skills, proficient in the English Language Written and Oral, must be able to legibly read and write reports.



    Knowledge and skill Requirements:
    • Experience in selling Passive products like Cables, Ducts, Fiber accessories
    • Key relationships with both business and technical within Civil, Mining, Consulting
    • Strong Presentation skills
    • Work well independently and in teams
    • Team member – ability to encourage or influence others to work together within the group
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Flexibility
    • Attention to detail
    • Willing to do extra in order to meet goals i.e. going the extra mile
