Job Summary:
Description – The primary responsibilities of the Cashier position are to maintain helpful customer service, process sales quickly, accurately, and efficiently, and cash register operations.

Key Responsibilities & Minimum Requirement:
Key Responsibilities – Greet customers entering the cashiers department.
Maintain clean and orderly till point area.
Receive payment by Cash, Cheque, Credit card, Voucher, or Electronic Fund Transfer.
Compute and record totals of transactions.
Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
Process goods returns and cancellations.
Answer customer’s questions, and provide information on procedures or policies.
Resolve customer complaints.
Performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork.

Qualification – Matric.
Accounting principles and practices.
Business Experience – Two to four years related work experience.
Must have knowledge with cash handling, balancing, and deposit preparation.

Computer Literacy – Point of Sale.
Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft applications software (MS Office; Word, Excel) MS Navision an added advantage.

Skills –Excellent communication Skills (Verbal & Written).
Outstanding customer service skills, with proven ability to communicate effectively with tact and diplomacy.
Ability to work successfully in stressful situations.
Service Orientation - Actively looking for ways to help people.
Attributes – High-energy individual who is a self-starter with a positive attitude and is eager to perform to the best of their ability.
Willing to work extended hours to meet deadlines as needed.
