  • Description

    CAPEX and OPEX management.
    Conduct Quality Assurance on timesheets.
    Develop and implement the best financial skills and competencies in order to render a quality service to all stakeholders.
    Ensure debtors and creditors are within targets.
    Ensuring conformance to Corporate Governance, Financial Risk Management and relevant financial and tax legislation.
    Facilitate the improvement of the long term financial sustainability of the Company.
    Fixed assets management.
    In a collaborative setting, formulate financial strategies to achieve the organisation's goals.
    Inventory and Stationery control.
    Maintenance of books of accounts.
    Maintenance of the fixed assets register and accounting for fixed assets movement.
    Manage on sound financial principles in accordance with South African Revenue Services (SARS).
    Payroll management and management of payroll issues
    Perform financial reporting & financial accounting.
    Prepare client Invoices (including Pro-forma Invoices)
    Prepare monthly and annual budget analysis for presenting and review by management.
    Provide a high level of prudent day to day oversight of financial management policies, procedures and practices for the company.
    Realignment for enhanced financial performance, cost effectiveness, reporting and accountability.
    Reporting and accounting as per regulatory and legal requirements including taxation, dividends, annual report and accounts.
    Review and reconcile the work in progress accounts.
    Setting up the finance and accounts function (policies, processes, procedures - systems and manual).
    Spot check Monthly Timesheet reconciliations vs. Monthly Checklists with Company Quality Assurer.
    Undertake financial feasibility studies (Financial Models - ROI, NPV and IRR).
    Education and Experience Requirements:
    Tertiary qualification in Accounting/equivalent qualification.
    Certified Public Accountant of South Africa (CPA - SA) certification.
    Minimum three (3) years relevant hands-on experience in a senior managerial capacity within a busy accounting environment.
    Developed a self evident track record for overseeing the achievement of sound financial results.
    High levels of computer literacy in accounting packages.
    Advanced MS Office.

    Income tax.
    Perform under pressure.
    PFMA, IFRS and BCEA.
    Project finance management.
