  • The position of sales and business development consists of selling a service for environmental purposes. Tasks Answer customers' questions about the service/products, prices, and credit terms; Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs, and to explain how these needs could be met by the service and product; Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support; Contact regular and prospective customers to explain the service and product features, and solicit orders; Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates; Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences; Monitor market conditions, product innovations, prices, and sales; Negotiate prices and terms of sales and service agreements Provide customers with product samples Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests. Develop, present, or respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions; New Business Development and sales Activities Client Relationship Management and after sales service Tracking of sales trends and customer purchasing habits Completing Tenders and proposals Submitting weekly and monthly sales reports Qualifications and requirements Qualifications and requirements Diploma or Degree in the environmental management will be an advantage 5 years minimum SALES experience Experience within waste and recycling industry and/or manufacturing environment Excellent knowledge of MS Office products and Document Management systems Ability to use logic and reason to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
