Provide timely financial information to inform and influence operational decisions. Compile accurate budgets and forecasts that are in line with group financial objectives. Participate in business and operational activities to enable business to meet their operational and strategic objectives. Create and apply rigorous and simple business processes and procedures in executions of responsibilities. Continuously innovate and be creative in order to improve quality and timeliness of deliverables. Add value to the bottom-line of the organisation through finance-created projects and initiatives. Develop financial models for business cases and to enable business decision-making. Business case and asset management assistance to enable business to minimize financial impact and make the most cost-efficient decisions. Develop processes and procedures for financial governance of business unit spending, business case approval and benefits tracking. Maintain effective internal control environment and ensure compliance with internal control processes and procedures. Provide quality financial business partnering to internal business clients. Develop effective business relationships that enable effective communication and cross-functional collaboration. Ensure that accounting entries processed are accurate, complete and comply with IFRS. Perform relevant monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Ensure collaboration between CAPEX, OPEX, business cases and asset coordination of supporting business unit. Coordinate and lead team in implementation of financial strategy as communicated by Head: Finance BP. Coordinate the process to analyse, manage and assist supporting BU in their financial performance cycle. General - Budget modelling (bottom-up) for business cases (in areas where needed), OPEX and CAPEX. Support budget allocation process and support target setting process. Consolidate data within supporting BU, generate and distribute ad-hoc reports to areas required within finance and business. Support the year end external audit and timelines. Analyse supporting BU performance, compare actual vs. forecast and variance analysis for supporting BU perspective, recommend actionable steps. Coordinate and lead forecast of Capex (1 year and 5 year plan), business case management (continuous reassessment & analysis). Required Certification/Professional Registration CA(SA), CIMA or AGA(SA) preferred. Qualifications Relevant Finance Degree [B.Com Accounting or B.Com Financial Management] (NQF level 7). B Com Honours/ CTA added advantage Experience 5 Years relevant experience of which 3 years proven operational skills in financial environment. Special Requirements Valid driver's license.
