  • Responsible for providing the formal technical and support during the sales process within South Africa. Responsibilities may include providing the required pre-sale product demonstrations as well as post-sale installation, training and/or customer service activities to support sales objectives. Responsibilities may also include ongoing post-sale customer support including on site clinical in-servicing and go-live support. Key Performance Areas Collect assigned market information about customer needs to Companyservice product Build up relationship with local customers including state and private hospitals Build up and execute the sales plan for customers, from understanding customer’s needs, to presenting Companyservice products, to deal closing and post sales customer care. Implement the sales plan for assigned territory, aimed at achieving and exceeding sales turnover and financial return, within the most cost-effective route and time-frame. Work together with internal departments during the whole sales process, and act as the focal point for customer in terms of product configuration, tendering, contract negotiation, and deal closing. Forecast orders/ sales within the applicable sales funnel tools & reports for the products and services in the assigned territory Build strong business relationships & formulate account strategies to continuously strengthen relationships within the assigned territory. Identify & respond to key account technical & departmental decision makers’ needs and maintain customer contact records in the relevant CRM tools Continuously develop and improve a network of key opinion leaders within the assigned territory Track and communicate market trends to/from the field including competitor data, and develop and lead effective counter-strategies •Maintain up to date detailed knowledge of their product/services. Able to present/ discuss the technology & clinical benefits in terms which are relevant to customers Maintain up to date market & competitor knowledge related to the product/ solutions/ services Continuously update the understanding of customers’ changing clinical and/or operational issues and challenges Create viable product configurations which meet customer needs effectively, while achieving optimum margin for CompanyDifferentiate assigned product offering during the various stages of the sales process, effectively using Companyresources/ approved product marketing/ product promotion material to actively support the customer through their decision-making process towards a successful outcome for CompanyPromote product/ solution and the company at relevant medical conferences/ technical exhibitions • Identify/ create new opportunities and work with sales leaders to continuously increase prospect funnel Drive tender/ bid process including the needs qualification, quotation and closure of the sales opportunities to meet orders/ sales/ margin targets as well as to maximize customer satisfaction Aware of and comply with the CompanyQuality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required Prepare and submit reports to management as required Knowledge and skills: Good track record in sales. Have good knowledge about market analysis, planning, development; good business acumen • Strategic & creative thinking; good at execution Passionate, hardworking, ambitious, strongly self-motivated; Highly fond of sales job, enjoy challenge Mature, persistent, not easy to give up under pressure Easy going, good at building trustful relationship with customers, with strong communication and influencing skills Good communication skills both verbal and written Own car and able to travel out of town Qualifications and Experience: Degree in medical physics, radiology or related At least 2 years related experience in selling equipment to medical environments.
