  • Management Live the company policy and demand compliance with such; Prepare targets and implement them; Educate new employees (training, work safety); Support active communication (regular feedback, problem- solving and decision-making); Actively manage conflict. Resources Comply with the law and regulations (work safety, environment); Product and service realization (Responsibilities) Coordinate release /return of stock with internal departments and clients; Solve problems arising from disputes / credit requests; Coordinate deliveries and returns; Invoice clients; Adhere to reporting deadlines; Keep reports and filing up to date; Rental batch run and Inventory valuation (SA and MOZ); Disposition (Dispo settings and warning list); Close sites and open quotations; Manage weekly cycle count and analyse figures; Assist with debtors and legal matters; Sit in on MP meetings; Cost Centre Management; Mandatory checks before shipments and investigations; Complete monthly checks before invoice run; Assist with cycle counts and analyse figures; Coordinate transport arrangements. Control Identify improvement potentials and implement them; Adhere to disciplinary code as per Company policy and procedures (Time keeping, absenteeism, performance, etc); Make use of Discoss II; Professional competence Educational background, vocational training Grade 12 Senior Certificate; Fluent in English; Operations or Logistics qualification. Professional experience and know how Extensive experience in Microsoft office packages; Experience in a similar role; Extensive experience in logistics. Method competence Leadership methods Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative staff planning, valuation of staff qualification, staff development and target agreement. Improvement methods Knowledge of continuous improvement process, innovation management, change management, problem solving, decision making, creativity methods and error prevention. Organizational methods Knowledge of delegation, allocation of tasks, self and team management, project management. Communication methods Knowledge of moderation, presentation. Social competence Team work, relationship management Good team player, teamwork skills, recognizes and controls group processes. Communication Knowledge of communication behaviour (communication techniques and feedback), conflict management. Leadership Knowledge of management tools (management by objectives).
