  • Primary Purpose Of The Job To ensure the achievement of Motorcycle retail and wholesale objectives through effective sales operations and process management. Major Task Headings (High level Key Performance Areas/Outputs. What do you do every day/month; what are you measured on?) Implement and execute HSAF sales strategies via various Regions Dealer PMA, Target calculations and setting Ensure Dealer wholesale and retail target achievement Manage franchise standards and compliance Dealer KPI setting and measurement Organise Annual Dealer Conference & Incentive programme Collate and analyse COI (customer order information) - monthly Collate and analyse STR (showroom traffic information) - monthly Manage and coach Sales Area Managers – daily, weekly, monthly Develop and present a Sales Plan for every new model launch – Sales SP Conduct Dealer interventions for non-achieving / non-performing dealers Manage and monitor stocking levels and pipeline flow for all dealers Develop and implement ad hock marketing activities / initiatives / events Monitor and control sales and marketing activities – DAF claims, Ad approval Company SA fleet programme Monitor the Dealer sales funnel and operational process – ensure all dealers have a formal process in place (e.g e-Good Manners or similar) Support HSAF AM budget – cost containment and expense control Manage the Approved Used Car programme – Company Plus+ Pre owned Administrative – Monthly rebate schedule recon, issuing of bulletins & AM communications, reporting, processing of departmental payments, Innovation extended warranty programme, Dealerview. Presentation inputs - various Prepare and issue monthly news letter Prepare monthly staff meeting presentation Detailed Description Of Tasks (Breakdown of major tasks into sub-tasks) Implement and execute HSAF sales strategies via the field team: Ensure full understanding of Organisational objectives for the Ki, ensure Dealers are managed inline and right-sized to support HSAF at all times Dealer PMA, target calculations and setting – Dealer footprint optimization, set Dealer targets, demo allowances & stocking requirements each quarter(for seasonality) to support Niguri and budget objectives Ensure dealer wholesale and retail target achievement – ensure sufficient activity is created at Dealer level that will drive sales objectives Dealer KPI setting and measurement (Sales & CSO divisions) Manage the annual Excellence Programme and compile monthly Scorecard. Target vs. actual, CSI, APNUR, CSO elements, showroom traffic, COI and all other KPIs that were set for the Ki (in line with HSAF annual objectives) Organise Annual Dealer Conference, Gala event and incentive trips Help organise the annual Dealer conference & Gala event where HSAF recognise and reward the Top performing Dealers and staff for the Ki Dealers are awarded per final Scorecard results as compiled monthly Develop and present a Sales Plan for every new model launch – SP Develop Sales plan for every new model intro – SP0, SP1, SP2 & SP3 The sales plan will include the run out plan of an existing model/s Conduct dealer interventions for non-achieving/non-performing dealers Prepare presentations and market stats, in order to address dealer performance with Dealership management at all levels. Support field staff with preparations and data inputs for any interventions they may have directly with a dealer or Dealer Group. Develop and implement ad hock marketing activities / initiatives for dealers. Strategic advertising, payment schemes, ad hock campaigns within a set period. Support various platforms and events. I.e. Type R owners club events, Launch events BRV & Civic Manage the Approved Used Car programme – Company Plus+ Company Plus CI guideline, quality check process, POS against franchise std, Value promise and Exhibit G of the Sales & Service agreement Technical Competency Requirements (e.g. skills, knowledge of the working environment that will help you to carry out your job at a technical level) Experience of the South African Motor Industry and its workings (16yrs) Motor industry retail and sales process Business development Market and Motor industry statistics South Africa, Sub-Sahara Africa geographical knowledge & License districts Industry specific ratios and benchmarks Advanced computer literacy skills (including MS Office, especially Excel) BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS (e.g. soft skills required to carry out your work effectively) Leadership and Organisational skills Analytical, basic financial and strong business ethics and acumen Interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skills Negotiation skills Communication skills Service and Diversity orientated Target driven Stress management RELEVANT INFORMATION / PARAMETERS OF WORK ENVIRONMENT (What are you measured on?)
