  • Key Performance Outputs The successful candidate, reporting to the Senior Manager HR SSC and Operations: Develop, plan and lead the delivery of the Shared Service Centre in line with business objectives. Facilitate HR effectiveness by managing and delivering on transactional HR services; Responsible for the management and integrity of the Human Resources Management Information System (HRMIS) and alignment to internal Information Technology Systems; Provide HR transactional support across the HR value chain ad support the workforce planning process including provision of workforce profile and demand and supply data; Develop and manage the implementation of payroll and record keeping policies, procedures and systems to ensure the availability of accurate employee related information; Manage the effective delivery of Payroll and HR administrative services to the organisation and manage the functional performance scorecards reports; Establish, monitor and manage healthy, diverse, workable internal and external relationships, including the interface with external providers to ensure functional needs are met and organisational goals achieved; Provide specialised technical / professional advisory service to internal and external stakeholder to ensure achievement of functional and organisational objectives. Accountable for functional performance, within the agreed strategic framework and approved plans. Technical Skills and Experience The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such, will be required: A Bachelor Degree in Human Resources/ Social Sciences; Membership with the South African Board of People Practices is recommended; 5-7 years’ operational experience in HRIS, Payroll and Administration; 3-5 years’ management experience in Stakeholder and People Management; Mastery of the concept and principles of a specialist field, ability to manage other professionals in this field; Advanced knowledge and experience of MS Office applications. Competencies The ideal candidate will portray exceptional comfort building stakeholder relationships and the ability to get others accept and trust a vision of the future. It is essential that the successful candidate display confidence whilst managing conflict and achieving win-win outcomes when there are conflicting interests and limited resources. Furthermore, the incumbent should be diplomatic and able to consistently deliver accurate work of a high quality by solving challenging problems and paying attention to detail. Effective communication and setting define milestones for achieving goals serves as a key competency for this challenging position.
