  • Responsible for the identification of opportunities for new products to maximize return on investment, market relevance and client satisfaction. Responsible for conceptualising opportunities as inputs/ triggers. Thoroughly evaluate new opportunities regarding the infrastructure assets owned by Gyro Towers and present the merits of such opportunities to PropCo's management through well-constructed concepts, using presentations and other mechanisms. Job Responsibilities Mast and Towers Client Account Strategy and Planning: Define the customer segmentation and account strategy with clear indication of how Gyro Towers will be positioned to capture an increased share of co-location spend wallet from major Customer analysis indicating an evolving customer needs analysis, to drive better positioning with Gyro Towers Assessment of competitor landscape and defining of differentiation strategy for Gyro Towers Development of client tailored value propositions to drive co-location revenue Client Account Management: Periodic engagement with clients to ensure execution of Account strategy Client issue resolution as and when they are raised Commercial Sales Pipeline Management: Development of rolling commercial pipeline for opportunities as well as business as usual execution Drive follow-through on realisation of commercial opportunities Periodic reporting on commercial pipeline for Chief Commercial Officer, Management Committee and Executive Committee forums for Gyro Development of commercial negotiation approach and tactics underpinning the new opportunities (including preparation of responses to tender opportunities – RFPs, RFQs etc) Compile projections: Perform analysis/ special studies Implement concept tracking mechanisms Identify targets and goals for environment Ensure quality and timelines are met Drive implementation of solutions Monitor and measure success Provide appropriate training and development initiatives Build relationships with relevant stakeholders by building and managing internal and external customer relationships Obtain required information from key role players Lead New Product Development: Constant review of the Gyro product offering, and assessment of opportunities new products and service leveraging evolving customer needs, new technologies and product innovation Conduct market research in support of potential new products and services Develop/ compile concept documents Implement and contribute to Business Plan & design operational plan for environment Budget Development Contribution: Constant review of the Gyro product offering, and assessment of opportunities new products and service leveraging evolving customer needs, new technologies and product innovation Management responsibilities: Manages the performance, productivity, and wellbeing of team and co-workers through leadership, mentoring, career development and performance management activities Manage own functional team to ensure customer satisfaction Drive EE/ AA/ Diversity targets for own functional team Facilitate sound employee relations and team effectiveness Implement Safety, Health and Environment Management (SHE) and enable a conducive working environment Required Certification/Professional Registration None Relevant degree/ diploma (at least NQF level 6) 7 Years relevant experience, of which at least 2 years at management level Special Requirements Excellent analytical and logic reasoning ability Enquiring mind-set Persuading and influencing ability Ability to generate and implement innovative ideas into the business Leadership in a changing environment
