  • Purpose of the Position: To support the effective planning and implementation of the integrated brand plan/s. Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to: Strategic & Financial Results: Drive impactful and cost effective brand campaigns Write and submit clear and timeous procurement briefs Support direct line manager with relevant and accurate analysis on brand performance and budget status Support brand team to grow brand equity Operational Results: Implement regional brand plan elements Create funds planning in SAP CRM Manage campaign process through SAP CRM Manage specific brand campaigns from concept to execution (end to end) Provide assistance to broader team in execution of brand plans Provide timeous and relevant feedback to line managers ito campaign success and implementation challenges with recommended improvements Customer & Relationship Results: Develops internal and external relationships and networks with organisational focus to resolve brand performance issues Collaboratively implements the Brand plan(s) with inputs from all stakeholders and feeds back to brand team Quality and relevant communication, behaviour and actions resulted in a high level of credibility, trust and respect across stakeholder groups Leadership Results To take responsibility for own development and contribute to team effectiveness Commit, agree and implement own development plan Consistently displays the values of Company Is flexible and approachable, willing to be multi-skilled Innovation & Improvement Results Drive continuous improvement for improved brand performance Feedback relevant marketing insights and campaign learnings to drive improvement in campaign impact and effectiveness Drive world class implementation of new product launches and take corrective action where required The successful candidate must have the following qualification, skills and experience: A relevant and recognised 3 year qualification A minimum of 3 years relevant marketing experience on brand execution Understanding and experience on SA channel landscape Demonstrates proficiency in the following Marketing competencies: Commercial Fluency - Balance short and long term business value generation through the regular application of commercial principles across the whole value chain and take ownership around course corrective rigour Innovativeness - Fearlessly challenges conventional ways of working and thinking in all aspects of the business - not just product and packaging - in order to inspire continuous improvements that drives business value Portfolio Strategy - Effective and efficient management of the brand portfolio through making tough choices that prioritises resource, increases focus and aligns business strategies to maximize business value Brand Crafting - Drive inspirational brand strategies and toolkits aligned to portfolio role that enables excellence in execution and business-wide brand custodianship Championing Channels - Drive channel strategies based on channel segmentation and integrated performance management in order to enable excellence in execution of portfolio strategy Integrated Brand & Channel Planning - Integrates Brand and Channel Strategies into granular plans that deliver against agreed short and long term business objectives Integrated Activity Planning & Execution - The ability to deliver against brand objectives by developing integrated activity plans that brings the brands creative platform to life consistently across multiple touch-points within the consumers decision journey Demonstrates proficiency in the following Behavioural competencies: Lead Self Personal effectiveness Resilience Model the Organisation values Thinking and Innovation Business Acumen Adaptability Problem solving Relationship Customer focus Builds relationship and networks Engagement skils Management Planning, Organising and Controlling Sense of urgency Takes ownership Leadership Dealing with change Team work Leading own performance
