  • Description

    Matric with tertiary hospitality qualification essential. Must have at least 2 years' experience in a 4* property with excellent planning and organizational skills. Ability to work accurately under pressure with good time management skills. Well groomed, presentable, and professional with super communication skills.
    Duties include:
    - Ascertaining and noting clients' exact needs and advising clients on the merits of the various facilities available
    - Carefully ascertaining the menu, beverage, entertainment, table plans and equipment needs' of the client and providing the information to the correct department
    - Making reservations for events
    - Drawing up contracts and ensuring they are signed and deposits are paid
    - Compiling weekly function sheets / banqueting schedules and updating as needed
    - Ensuring prompt, courteous response and following up on queries made
    - Accurate billing for the function and ensuring all supporting documents are passed to Accounts Department for the correct billing of the client
    - Performing MOD shifts
