    A Company based in Midrand is looking for a Brand Executive to join their team.
    Job Description
    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    ? Effective management of a comprehensive brand management team
    ? Processing orders received for strategic accounts
    ? Compilation of quotations
    ? Attend product training and events
    ? Setting up training and information events to staff and partners
    ? Sending relevant product information to staff and partners
    ? Processing of relevant delivery notes and documentation
    ? Updating backorders and orders received on a daily basis on request from account manager
    ? Liaise with clients as well as partners on daily queries when necessary
    ? Liaise with stores/dispatch regarding deliveries of all orders and supply of invoices
    ? Product knowledge of security and life safety products, especially, Access Control and/or Fire and/or CCTV. An understanding of networking and intrusion technology will be advantageous
    ? Generate sales leads and constant follow up with deals
    ? Identify opportunities to market products and the company
    ? Business Strategy Development and Execution
    ? Liaise with vendor and industry to understand product and market trends and amend plans accordingly to ensure efficient product life cycle management and maximize opportunities
    ? Clearly communicate product, market strategy, objectives and technical
    ? Strategic account management plan for all channel partners to be presented once a quarter as part of your quarterly review
    ? Monitor inventory (inventory turns, stock ageing, stock days, obsolesces, stock outs) in order for stock to meet all key performance indicators
    ? Negotiate targets, rebates, co-op marketing funds, stock rotation, pricing and supply
    ? Manage backorder and warranty return
    ? Ensure that customer related queries are effectively dealt with and solved
    ? Assist the team with other related functions when and where required
    ? Submit Weekly/Monthly/quarterly reports as required by management, vendors and analysts
    ? Working with the partner to drive marketing initiatives on behalf of the vendor, these initiatives may include
    ? Marketing events
    ? Tele-campaigns
    ? Internal incentives
    ? Promotion of vendor events
    ? Driving vendor GTM’s with the partner and ensuring focus on the GTM’s
    KEY REQUIREMENTS
    ? Matric with mathematics, a sales and marketing tertiary qualification and/or relevant diploma is essential
    ? 3 years’ experience within brand management is preferred
    ? 3-4 years’ security experience within a distribution environment is preferred
    ? Above average computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and One Note is essential
    ? Passion for technology and ability to learn new products
    ? Results and deadline driven
    ? Excellent technical knowledge
    ? Excellent selling skills
    ? Attend and present product training
    ? Driver’s licenses and own transport is essential
    ? Ability to carry through a task to completion
    ? Ability to deal with people at all levels including high profile clients and projects

    ? Good time management and ability to effectively prioritize workload
