    Senior Business Analyst

    Role details:
    The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible to manage systems and project development life cycles from analysis right through to implementation

    Key Performance Areas
    ICT Projects
    • Conduct workshops with the relevant departments of the business to gather detailed user requirements by following a standard development methodology
    • Translate client requirements into highly specified project briefs
    • Identify options for potential solutions and assess these for both technical and business suitability
    • Compile proposals for modified or replacement systems and present to relevant parties for their consideration
    • Work closely together with programmers and a variety of end-users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction
    • Oversee the implementation of the new and approved system(s)
    • Continuously ensure that tasks and projects are completed within deadlines and that any rework is limited
    Improve business efficiency
    • Monitor and improve the efficiency of business processes, as well as collect, analyse and interpret data from existing processes to recommend improvements to ensure best practice is followed at all times
    • Continuously keep up to date with technical as well as industry sector developments and investigate alternative business solutions
    • Reduce manual tasks and direct costs as well as provide efficiencies through the effective use of technology
    • Interpret business processes into user interaction flows and screen layouts
    • Draw-upand implement testing schedules for the complete system(s) to test if theoutcome and results meet the business requirements
    • Provideadequate training to users of the new and approved system(s) and procedures
    • Ensurethat budgets are adhered to and deadlines are met accordingly to minimize cost
    • Responsiblefor the compilation and distribution of status reports to relevant parties
    Qualifications & Accreditations
    • BSc / BCom / IT Degree
    • MBA will be an added advantage
    Experience & Skills
    • At least 5 years of experience in a business analysis, process development and/or debtors system environment
    • Working knowledge of relational databases, web and client-server concepts
    • 3 Years experience within a retail or financial environment
    • Background in Microsoft .NET, Visual Basic, Excel, Word, Outlook and HTML
    • Good working knowledge skills with Microsoft Office Products, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Project
    • Experience in the development and implementation of standards, procedures and guidelines to support operational processes
    • Any unsecured lending experience is an added advantageous
