RoenCO (Pty) LTD has an exciting position available for an energetic and highly skilled individual with a strong Sewing and Machine embroidery background to take the lead on our Sales, Marketing and Customer Relationship Management.
Our successful candidate will need to have excellent knowledge of all things sewing and relevant industry related experience in Sales & Marketing. In addition, our ideal candidate will have a very keen interest in growing our market share and the industry as a whole and a passion for imparting and sharing their knowledge.
The position is based in Route 21 Corporate Park, Irene/Centurion but regular travel and weekend availability is required.
Key delivery areas:
- Revenue generation through sales
- Events coordination &administration
- Marketing
- Training
- Relationship Management
Key duties:
- Training of dealership employees via workshops / webinars / one on one training sessions
- Supporting network of dealerships in their marketing efforts, including co-hosting events / trade shows etc.
- Actively contribute, in creative ways to all aspects of role, addressing any challenges in unconventional ways
- Empower and equip dealerships to grow their businesses
- Actively seek out unique opportunities to sign up new dealers and explore creative avenues to grow the business
- Take the lead on the Sewing & Embroidery YouTube channel – creating content, setting the agenda, driving views and engagement on the channel
- Professional, appropriate, and timely responses to all feedback, comments, and complaints.
- Preparation and distribution of event details to all relevant stakeholders
- Liaise and maintain a relationship with other departments to ensure the effective, efficient and smooth running of business.
Candidate requirements:
- Thorough understanding of sewing and embroidery machine technology and ability to keep abreast of changes
- Fast learner
- Excellent Sewing and Machine embroidery skills
- Advanced troubleshooting skills
- Comprehensive understanding of the Sewing and Home sewing industry
- Ability to compile and present training on Sewing and Embroidery machines
- Strong Sales & Marketing Background (social media knowledge is an advantage)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility with work hours
- Outstanding team player
- Target driven and self-motivated
- A structured, organised and forward-thinking approach to work planning
- Proactive nature with an outgoing and friendly personality
