Basic Monthly salary offered from 30 000 SR up to 37 000 SR. (Offered according to experience.)
37 000 SR is +/- R130 000 South-African Rand per month.
Your contract package will include benefits such as:
42 days annual leave per year.
With start of contract the hospital provides a one way flight ticket from home country. After this staff is eligible for a round trip ticket to and from home country.
Health insurance covered by hospital.
The initial SCFHS & MOH licensing fees will be paid by the hospital, renewal of licenses will be charged to staff account.

EDUCATION: Master's Degree of Nursing or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 10 years experience working as Nursing Director in reputed hospitals.
Preferably working in KSA with a specialist license.
LICENSURE: Current registered nursing license from country of citizenship or professional practice.
LANGUAGE: Excellent oral and written English language skills.
1. Job Purpose:
The position holder is accountable and responsible for planning, directing and evaluating activities of the nursing department, including implementation of the department's philosophy and goals, standards for nursing practice and the management and development of nursing personnel. She provides leadership and direction in all nursing matter.
2. Duties and Responsibilities: (Administration):
2.1 Is responsible for the direct patient care given in the hospital.
2.2 Formulate and disseminate the nursing mission, philosophy and objectives.
2.3 Provide written short and long-term plans designed to implement and facilitate achievement of department objectives.
2.4 Develop, review, approve and enforce written departmental policies and procedures.
2.5 Prepare a written plan of response by nurses in case of internal or external disaster and prepare for implementation in case of necessity.
2.6 Develop and display a written table of organization depicting the positions of the nursing department, channels of communication and the relationship of the nursing department with the other departments.
2.7 Participate in the development of overall direction and policies for the health care organization based on the health of the community.
2.8 Participate in policy decisions that affect patient care services.
2.9 Develop a nursing master staffing plan-using input from the unit level nursing personnel plans.
2.10 Determine and communicate resources needed for the nursing department to carry out its functions and submit written reports as required.
2.11 Estimates needs for facilitates, supplies and equipment.
2.12 Assist in the preparation and administration of the nursing department budget.
2.13 Institute a system for evaluation and control of supply levels including a written reporting system.
Human Resource Department
2.14 Collaborate with the administrative staff, other department personnel and representatives of allied groups in planning services for patients.
2.15 Establish and maintain an effective system of records and reports
2.16 Maintain good working relationship and frequent liaison with other department managers.
2.17 Communicate regularly with the hospital director and give input on all matters related to nursing.
2.18 Formulate, implement and evaluate a nursing personnel management program.
2.19 Supervise and develop head nurse and supervisors.
2.20 Hold regular meetings with nursing department managers individually and collectively.
2.21 Develop a mechanism for nursing staff to give input into administration decisions.
2.23 Ensure that a comprehensive orientation program is conducted for all new nursing personnel.
2.24 Guide the development of an efficient and effective nursing education unit.
2.25 Oversee provision and implementation of educational programs for nurses.
2.26 Participate in the assessment of learning needs and provide opportunities for staff development.
2.27 Plan, coordinate and participate in nursing in-service training.
2.28 Plan with educational institutions for the use of hospital facilities, which include student learning experience and clinical practice.
2.29 Participate and promote interest in the activities of professional nursing as evidenced by attendance at professional seminars and community activities.
2.30 The department head monitors the performance of the staff.
