    The Mandate

    Our Gauteng Operations team is looking to hire a Facilities & Maintenance Manager to help us get our operation and management team to the next level! Primarily located in Jetpark, you will work onsite with flexibility to work from home on occasion and will be reporting directly to the General Manager of Operations at the Head Office.

    This role will be responsible for various projects in collaboration with our Operations managers, Health and Safety team, security guards, maintenance workers and contractors to insure upkeep, cleanliness, safety and functionality of the building which has both office and production functions.


    Supplier Management

    Manage relationships and SLA of our different suppliers of goods or services and implement cost savings opportunities

    Manage budgets, purchasing for all tools, supplies and services needed for the operations

    Maintenance & Cleaning

    Responsible for the day-to-day upkeep and maintenance of the building and its premises including but not limited to cleanliness, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, office layout and structural, snow removal, etc.

    Working in collaboration with the hygiene team to support the overall cleanliness of the building, both office and operations including external and internal cleaning teams.

    Layout & Construction

    Propose best space management practices and coordinate team movements within the workplace

    Propose new layouts to optimize cost and space for production and office spaces

    Project Manage construction and facilities improvement projects to the


    Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed to insure the safety of all employees by doing daily / weekly inspection and reporting any issues

    Be the main point of contact for emergencies and contractors of various trades


    Manage the security guard team as their direct manager by providing coaching, training, and support

    Ensure the location’s 24/7 security by maintaining security systems, security badges, surveillance cameras, etc.


    8-12 years experience as a facility manager that has both office and operations space

    Experience managing a facility that holds 300+ employees

    Experience in project management and project implementation an asset

    Experience working in a refrigerated environment an asset (0-4 degrees)

    Excellent people management skills and experience

    Ability to multitask and leads several projects at one time.

    Able to read and edits blueprints, financial reports and schematics
