  • Roles & Responsibilities:

    1. Accounts Receivable
    Ensure that account and contact details are correct
    Send accurate and timely invoices
    Verify account receivable balances
    Generate accounts receivable reports
    Post the paid invoices
    Match the customer records to the General Ledger
    2. Accounts Payable
    Review and verify invoices
    Set invoices up for payment
    Enter and upload invoices into system
    Track expenses and process expense report
    Reconcile accounts payable transactions
    Prepare analysis of accounts
    Monitor account to make sure payments are up to date
    Maintain supplier details
    3. SARS
    Ensure that company is tax complaint
    Handle all tax matters/audits (PAYE; VAT, Dividend Tax and Income Tax)
    4. Statutory Requirements
    The below must be up to date

    CIPC requirements
    Workmen compensation
    NHBRC registration
    Accounting system used: XERO
