  • • Debtors: Ensure bookkeepers/ clerks are processing and producing daily invoices and accurate statements timeously each month’s
    • Co-ordinate activities with the Group to ensure policies and reporting requirements are adhered to
    • Creditors: Ensure that clerks have presented the correct suppliers invoices for payment and authorize creditors payments
    • Co-ordinate cash requirements with management
    • Intercompany reconciliation: Ensure that all intercompany invoices/recharges are processed and that intercompany loan balances are processed.
    • Month- End: Take full responsibility for the accurate completion of the month end file as specified by management
    • Ensure PAYE, SDL and UIF returns and reconciliations have been completed by clerks and ready for payment before the 4th day of each month
    • Maintenance and management of Capex and Assets Register on Sage Evolution
    • Ensure monthly management reports (trial balance, income statement, balance sheet, gross contribution analysis, product sales analysis, customer sales analysis, department analysis against budget) are prepared for monthly management meetings
    • Ensure that all balance sheet reconciliations are produced on an accurate and timely basis
    • VAT: Lead on tax planning, including VAT related matters
    • Monthly Payroll and Maintenance: Oversee salary and wage calculations and ensure that staff are paid timeously
    • Annual Budgets: Prepare annual budgets in-line with group requirements.
    • Year- end Procedures: Preparation for year- end audit file and assisting auditors with year-end audits /independent reviews
    • Cash Forecasting: Preparation of weekly, monthly and annual cash forecasts within 10% accuracy
    • Financial policies, procedures and systems: Development of policies and ensure implementation and adherence to policies across all teams
    • Investment and Semi-dormant group companies: Ensure accounting records for all Group companies are up to date and statutory compliance for these companies.
