  • We are looking for an HR Practitioner & Finance Assistant for a Renowned National Dealership in Port Elizabeth.

    Requirements:

    Tertiary Qualification in Human Resources (HR degree / or equivalent)

    An effective understanding of the Labour Relations Act. Of 1995

    Accounting experience

    Computer literacy (Office suite & VIP)

    Driver’s License advantageous

    Motor Dealership experience advantageous

    Specialized Dealer Management System knowledge advantageous (Autoline)

    Role and Responsibilities

    Responsible for payment of monthly salaries and wages

    Responsible for general employee administrative tasks, including registration of employees for Provident Fund & Medical Aid, employee leave maintenance, advising on best HR practices as well us updating and maintaining company policies and procedures

    Perform annual report submissions, including compiling and printing IRP5 certificates, Workman’s compensation, EE reporting, WSP, annual Training plan, Skills grant applications

    Coordinate training of all dealership staff

    Assist in attraction, development, retention and appraisal of dealership staff

    Responsible for employee incident control, ie filing of IOD’s and liaising with the relevant parties in order to complete required documentation to finalise claim

    Assist Financial Manager with certain accounting functions, including but not limited to reconciliations, review of payments prior to being released, and other ad hoc items

    Any further tasks assigned by management from time to time to meet the needs of the company

    Salary is market related - negotiable
