  • Our client is looking for someone who is a true people’s person, has experience working in a small to medium size business. Great administration and time keeping skills and a love and passion for human resources.

    What’s the role?

    You will be responsible for HR Strategy development in support of company strategy, goals and objective.
    You will be responsible for the day to day running of the HR department including but not limited to HR, IR, training and development and payroll management.
    You will be responsible to identify organisational changes and develop HR policies to support change.
    You will be responsible to ensure internal policies are in line with regulatory requirements.
    You will be responsible for Identifying HR risk and advise on possible actions and solutions to mitigate risks.
    You will be responsible to manage the HR systems and administrative processes across all business areas.
    You will be responsible for acting as advisor to management teams, give guidance on disciplinary process, performance management, grievances and general people practices.
    You will be responsible for assessing problem situation to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions and make recommendation or resolve the problems.
    You will be responsible for developing and implementing Human Capital policies, procedures and processes.
    You will be responsible for measuring employee satisfaction and identify areas that require improvement.
    You will be responsible for Managing recruitment and retention processes including talent and succession development.
    You will be responsible for Designing and implement talent management programme.
    You will be responsible for managing conflict and all relevant employee relations.
    You will be responsible for managing orientation and exit programs.
    You will be responsible for representing the company at the CCMA.
    You will be responsible for recruitment, Selection and Placement
    You will be responsible for performance Management
    You will be responsible for employee development
    You will be responsible for employee Relations
    You will be responsible for project and change management
    You will be responsible for legal Compliance
    You will be responsible for Management of Payroll
    Requirements

    Boxes to tick…

    Grade 12 or equivalent academic qualification
    Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management
    Proficient in MS Office (intermediate level)
    Knowledge and experience of computerised HR, Payroll and time and attendance systems
    Extensive knowledge of South African Labour legislation BCEA, EEA, LRA, SDL, BBEEE
    CCMA representation up to arbitration level
