    Sales Account Management: Western Cape
    Our client, is seeking a REMOTE Sales Account Management for Western Cape.

    You will have the following experience and attributes;
    Develops and maintains strong client relationships with OEM and Distributor accounts while meeting position objectives.
    Ensures Parker products are specified to maintain and increase revenue by prioritizing the opportunities on an account-by-account basis to obtain optimum sales and margin results
    Achieve monthly, quarterly or annual sales and product growth and order bookings targets
    Develops and maintains comprehensive technical knowledge of group/divisional products, applications, features, advantages and benefits. Keeps up with internal and external training and development
    Create business plans for all customers providing regular reports on customer performance and activity
    Provide the primary customer interface for all product, services and solutions
    Facilitate resolution of any customer issues; serve as a central resource for communications with the customer; champion customer needs and requirements within the organization
    Diligent stewardship of CRM software achieving +/- 5% accuracy in order forecasting
    Keep fully up to date with and communicate internally on regularly and effectively on market developments, new products, trends, opportunities etc.
    Represent and promote the business in a professional and positive manner at all times
    Develops and maintains comprehensive knowledge of competitive products and their activity in the market place and provide reports, on a regular and/or monthly basis. Keeps management aware of changes which would affect the distribution of Parker products
    Participates in the development and implementation of appropriate response strategies jointly with the product specialist
    Assists the product specialist and in turn divisions in planning strategy to provide the products and service required for their assigned accounts
    Actively support cross divisional and other group product with proper referral

    Minimum requirements:
    Ideally degree qualified with a mechanical engineering bias and/or a minimum of 5 years direct sales and 5 years account management experience
    Proven relevant sales experience with demonstrable evidence of success performing a similar role
    Knowledge of the respective technologies
    A network of contacts and relationships in the motion and control industry
    Contracting community within the defined product and geography
    Computer literate to intermediate/ advanced level in the Microsoft Office software suite
    Results driven with absolute determination and motivation to achieve in sales
    Highly organized, with attention to detail
    Commitment to excellence in customer service and satisfaction
