Our client automotive retail and servicing centres are looking for a savvy Inventory Control Clerk to join our growing team of service department employees. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining records of parts in inventory and on order. Monitors reorder points and initiates action to replenish stock. Reconciles discrepancies in inventories and notifies supervisor of irregularities

Duties & Responsibilities

Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; processes purchasing orders as required; tracks orders.

Records purchases, maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.

Receives, unpacks, re-stocks items as necessary, labels shelves

Desired Experience & Qualification

Grade 12/ Matric Certificate

Computer data entry experience and proficient in MS Office

Minimum of 3 years general clerical and inventory record keeping experience

Previous experience in Stores or Machinery Spare Parts would be advantageous
