Sovereign Foods, a national supplier of top quality chicken products to the SA market via various brands, is seeking to employ an IT Graduate Intern for its operations at Kariega.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and interested candidates for this fixed term position at the BI Department. The IT Graduate Intern is responsible for assisting with functional Information System solutions which solve internal business problems.

The minimum requirements are a BSc or BTech in Information Systems or Software Development and a basic understanding of TSQL, Stored Procedures, Application Development (C#.Net), Data Integration and Loading Processes (SSIS and SSAS). Previous SSRS experience will be advantageous.

Results Required:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve the following results:

• Basic desktop application development

• SSIS package development

• Data management and integration to consolidated reporting repository

• Execution of reporting developments to planned time table

• Quality Assurance checks before deployment to end users

• User support and review of deployed reports for close out

• Configuration and implementation of report / data monitoring for error handling and variance resolutions

• Post Deployment support

• Completion of relevant documentation
