  • IT Operations Manager, Woodmead
    R720k
    IT Software & Business Intelligence leader requires an experienced Operations Manager.
    To be a part of this ever growing team, you’ll need;
    • A provable middle management or project management record
    • A good understanding of how to make BI engagements successful
    • A reasonable understanding of BI technology
    Your duties would include, but not limited to:
    • To ensure that all operations with regards to day to day running of support, POC’s, projects, implementation of solutions at customers etc. are executed according to plan, structure, quality and in budget. As well as to ensure that the correct resources/employees are allocated to the different tasks.
    • To be the BI champion within the business, driving education, certification, understanding of and uptake of new BI technology, researching and recommending new BI products and services to take to market
    • Sales support - regular meetings to discuss the progress of sales, presales support, where resources will be needed and the planning thereof.
    • Weekly management committee – report back on key items
    • Daily stand-up sessions – delivery teams
    • Coordination and Supervision - Coordinate, manage and monitor the workings in the organization.
    • Human Resources - Plan the use of human resources. Organize recruitment and placement of required staff. Establish organizational structures. Delegate tasks and accountabilities. Establish work schedules. Supervise staff. Monitor and evaluate performance.
    • Business Analysis – Involved in planning, scoping and analysis work on projects and allocate the correct employees to the projects.
    • Communication - Facilitate coordination and communication between support functions.
    • Sales, Marketing and Customer Service - Manage customer support. Plan and support sales and marketing activities as a result of resource knowledge (availability skills long term plans)
