  • We are looking for an Accountant with 2 - 4 years' experience with strong oral and written communication skills to effectively present information to others.

    Duties & Responsibilities:
    - Full financial responsibility from cashbook up to Trial Balance for related entities
    - Trial balance to book recons
    - Monthly recurring journals
    - Oversee debtors' functions with a hands on focus on major debtors
    - Preparing income statement analysis / balance sheet analysis
    - Reviewing of creditors reconciliations
    - Completion of month-end reporting within specified time frames
    - Maintain fixed assets schedules
    - Reconciling of fixed assets schedules to general ledgers
    - Adhoc projects and exercises
    - Compiling required reports within set deadlines
    - Performing of month end stock counts and capturing relevant information on the financial system.

    Requirements:
    - B.Com Accounting degree
    - 2 - 4 year's experience in an accounting position which has included preparation and reconciliation of accounts, financial reporting and filing of returns to SARS
    - Experience in Pastel
    - Good communication skills
    - Strong project management skills, highly organized and capable of effective multi - tasking and time management
    - Flexibility to work effectively in a changing environment. Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, work assignments and / or changes in priorities.
