*A well-established Franchise restaurant in Witbank (Mpumalanga) is looking for a Junior Accountant/Restaurant Stock Controller*

*_KEY OUTPUTS_*



• Solid knowledge of stock control systems in an hospitality industry

• Ensure target Food Cost is maintained at all times

• Initiate the ordering of replacement stock before minimum stock levels have been reached

• Continuously improve processes to increase stores efficiency and reduce costs

• Update the Micros stock control lists

• Detailed Inventory control

• Trouble shooting inventory discrepancies

• Cash management controls

• Comprehensive Stock controls from receiving, processing & portioning and balancing against Micros POS sales reports

• Investigating and reporting on all variances, ensuring all security measures are being followed

• Review P&Ls monthly with management and document Action Plans in order to improve financial performance

• Work with POS and ensure all Cash and Stock Systems are balancing on a daily basis

• Communicates clearly, concisely and accurately to ensure effective restaurant operations.

*_REQUIREMENTS_*



• Accounting Qualifications - COMPULSORY

• Previous hospitality experience - advantageous

• Stock management - advantageous

• Excellent computer skills

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to cope well under pressure

• Must be flexible to work late hours, weekends and Public holidays when required

• Own transport

• English speaking

• A keen understanding of KPIs, food cost, budgets and Profit and Loss reports

• Ability to scrutinise stock management checks

• MUST be Computer literate

• MS Office suite
