Position: Junior DevOps Engineer

Salary: R23000 p/m – R27000 neg on exp (CTC)

Main job role: Develop & support commercial grade web applications & solutions

Requirements

• Completed Grade 12

• Recognized IT certificate or Diploma in Software Development

• N+ & A+ certification preferred

• 2 - 3 years' development experience

• 2 years’ Linux server/ Windows server & networking experience

• Skills required: NodeJS, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, PHP, SQL/MySQL & VueJS/React/Angular exp

• 1 – 2 years Virtualization experience (VMware)

• 1 2 years technical exp in an IT Infrastructure Management environment

• Beneficial skills: ElasticSearch, Docker & RestAPI.

Duties

• To automate & improve existing systems & services

• Identify technical problems & develop software updates & fixes

• Improve existing services & systems

• Provide root cause analysis for production errors

• Build & set up new development tools & infrastructure

• Work in teams to focus on new client needs, innovation requests, automation & scripting

• 3 years of experience
