    Job Description

    Duties

    · Create purchase orders for the company expenses. Ensure that all invoices have valid purchase orders.
    · Ensure that purchase orders are approved timeously
    · Responsible for payment of monthly fixed expenses, booking invoices and receipting of goods
    · Co-ordinate with local team & shared services team in Cebu to ensure timeous validation & approval of invoices
    · Liaise with suppliers regarding any queries relating to the invoices
    · Perform supplier reconciliations before invoices are submitted for capturing & payment. Review AP statements against invoices booked.
    · Perform detailed KNN AP Recon - Warehouse/duties & imports
    · Attend to queries relating to invoices
    · Assist is customer related queries, i.e. invoices, statements, proof of delivery, etc.
    · Ensure that all compliance payments (i.e. tax payment to SARS, payroll 3rd party payments, Standard bank fleet, etc) are made before deadlines and do not attract interest & penalties.
    · Perform monthly operational expenses reconciliations
    · Attend to bank allocation queries. Review expenses to ensure allocations were done correctly.
    · Assess internal AP processes & highlight areas of improvement.
    · Review fleet card reports – analyze month on month spend and escalate any abnormal usage.
    · Analyze the travel spend against budgets.
    · Perform journals for opex reclass.
    · Assist in VAT validation and send requested information to tax consultants
    · Complete the E-filing of tax returns
    · Assist in year end audit to compile audit files, co-ordinate with different departments for information requested by auditors.
    · Process approved audit adjustments.
    · Perform fixed assets verification. Ensure the asset register is updated with new & disposed assets.
    · Update the finance ISO documents & assist with ISO audit.
    · Perform rebates reconciliation ensuring claims are correct
    · Review claims against deductions and attend to any queries.
    · Liaise with sales team, client & rebates team in Cebu regarding any queries
    · Recalculate ship & debit fees on the back end bids

    Requirements

    · Bcom / Btech
    · At least 3 years finance experience preferably within an international organization.
    · Sound understanding of payroll
    · Ability to multi task
    · Excellent communication and relationship skills
    · Results Driven
    · The ideal candidate should be flexible, a self starter, service oriented who is able to handle stress. He or she must want to make a difference and have a hands-on attitude.
    · This placement will be made in accordance with the company’s Employment Equity Plan.
