    A prominent South African distributor of advanced ICT equipment in Midrand is looking for a Junior Financial Manager to join their team. Job description: The Junior Financial Manager will be employed in a support role to the Financial Manager, and will be responsible for ad-hoc/special projects occasionally. The Junior Financial Manager position will suit a young, dynamic, and strong-willed individual with an aspiration to grow into a Financial Manager role or similar capacity. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Support strategic planning • Assisting with budgets and forecasts • Interpret financial results and reporting systems • Oversee and assist with reporting on a monthly basis • Assist with cash flow management • Liaise with Namibia and Botswana management and auditors • Income statement and balance sheet analyzing • Cash flow projections • Risk management (manage risk register) • Process implementation • Update policies and procedures where applicable • Enforce financial policies, procedures and related internal control policies • Follow up on and implement internal and external audit recommendations • Identify and implement improvements to strengthen the financial health of the business • Interpret financial information and provide quality feedback to the Financial Manager • Compile HR reports from payroll database for monthly reporting • Assist with authorizing payments
    Job Description

    · Matric with mathematics and a BCom qualification within the financial field is non-negotiable
    · Willingness to further studies in the financial field is essential
    · Minimum of 5 years working experience within the financial environment
    · Good academic record/above average pass rate
    · Full function financial management experience will be an advantage
    · Previous work experience within the distribution/FMCG experience is beneficial
    · A flair for electronic systems
    · Above average computer literacy in MS word, Outlook, PowerPoint and advanced MS Excel
    · Previous experience and/or working knowledge of IT/ERP systems/ SQL/HR will be an advantage
    · Willingness to commit to additional time above the normal working hours
    · Willingness to go the extra mile
    · Copes effortlessly within a high stress and pressurized environment i.e. ability to handle pressure
