Duties include, but are not limited to: 1. Liaising with Sales: The Logistics Coordinator will liaise with the Sales Consultants regularly with regards to feedback from sites and customer contact details. 2. Customer Liaison: Once a job has been opened, the Logistics Coordinator will send a courtesy email to the customer to request contact details and maps to site for delivery. Once received, this is placed in the job file. The Logistics Coordinator must determine whether a safety file is needed. If it is required, the Logistics Coordinator must communicate this to the Project Manager. 3. Arranging for Deliveries: Every Monday a production schedule and that week’s scheduled delivery list is sent through by the Production Planner. The Logistics Coordinator contacts each client indicated on AB Tank Schedule to: Determine whether both the foundations and client are ready for delivery and installation of the tank/s ordered. This applies to both local and international.
