We are looking for an ideal candidate as a Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities Department.

As a Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities will be to maintain the good condition of the premises. You will be working autonomously and sensibly by observing all safety and health guidelines at the workplace.

Your objective will be to keep the facility and other areas in the best possible condition. You will be building general maintenance processes and methods on a day to day basis. If you are the experienced Maintenance Technician, then apply today. We will be pleased to meet you.

Responsibilities

Inspecting the facility system and conducting repairs of mechanical systems to ensure that they are consistent with safety and health standards.

Performing the maintenance of electrical systems on a regular basis.

Assisting in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conducting general repairs whenever and wherever required.

Maintaining plumbing, electrical and heating systems to make sure the systems offer the utmost functionality.

Surveying buildings and repairing mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards.

Examining alarm systems and schedule periodic checks and repairs.

Carrying out pest control activities on a monthly basis.

Performing general upkeep tasks.

Building maintenance reports and present it to the Maintenance Manager.

Assisting with budget preparations and ensuring it is properly followed.

Requirements

High school diploma or relevant.

Proven work experience as a Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.

Certification in HVAC, Facility Management or relevant field will be preferred.

Certification of Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) will be required.

Basic understanding of hydraulic, electrical and other systems.

Proper knowledge of general maintenance methods and processes.

Good physical condition and willingness to work overtime whenever required.

Good knowledge of the tools, common devices, and appliances.

Excellent listening skills.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Quick decision-making skills

Strong work ethics.
