Applications are invited from suitably qualified and interested candidates for this position at the Commercial Division. The Management Accountant will be responsible for controlling the financial activities of the Sales & Marketing Division through driving down costs, highlighting variances to standard as well as potential areas of improvement across the division, and to ensure that budget is not exceeded. This position reports to the Senior Divisional Financial Manager. The successful incumbent should be in the possession of a relevant BCom degree, 3 years financial management, budget processes, control and management and cost saving experience at a senior level.

Results Required:

• Control the budget and expense approvals for the Division.

• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports.

• Ensure that the standard operating procedures (SOPs) are in place and adhered to.

• Perform month end Financial activities.

• Prepare and submit Sales/Expense budgets and forecast.

• Prepare ad submit weekly cashbooks.

• Perform Sales analysis and Reconcile GL to the sales reports.

• Assist with the monthly stock recon.

• Strong technical accounting and financial knowledge.

• Strong analytical skills and able to take corrective action.

• Contribute to/implement cost cutting methods.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent report writing skills.

• High degree of Computer competence (Excel, PowerPoint, Syspro).
