  • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB
     Responsible for planning, creating, implementing and controlling production schedules.
     Set up production targets in line with the Company’s strategy and targets.
     Determine and manage production resources to meet production targets.
     Create, implement and adhere to standard operating procedures and production processes (including activity lists, workstation boards, etc.)
     Ensure best operating practices are implemented and continuous improvement embedded within the factories.
     Implement applicable cost control programs and measures.
     Implement and enforce quality standards, control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives.
     Analyse production and quality control on an ongoing basis to detect and correct problems.
     Ensure that production reports are prepared and maintained on an ongoing basis.
     Monitor and review the performance of Factory Managers and arrange relevant training and development where required to ensure improvement.
     Drive all projects and report to Operations Director on factory outputs, status, risks and the management thereof.
     Identify risks and implement mitigating controls and / or changes.
     Facilitate change, driving change and achieving sustainable results.
     Ensure savings targets are achieved by evaluating gaps and identifying solutions.
     Assure subordinate managers complete individual goals and objectives and complete annual performance appraisals.
     Lead a cultural shift in production focused on breakthrough improvements to move the facilities to the next level of operational excellence.
     Manages the production budgets.
     Chair EHS steering committee.
     Ensure the optimal operation of Production and Maintenance.
     Formulate, plan and implement continuous improvement activities to ensure on time, on budget, and quality performance.
    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
     Qualifications
    Required Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, or a related field
     Candidate Experience
    Required 5 - 8 years related Managerial experience
     Candidate Skills
    Preferred Certified Six Sigma Engineer/Professional and Lean Knowledge
