  • MINE PLANNING OFFICER
    Salary – CTC – R60 000
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Relevant 3 Year Tertiary Qualification
    • Driver’s license (Code EB/08)
    MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
    • Completed Graduate Development Programme or equivalent
    • Exp in a production environment
    • Exp in scheduling will be advantageous
    BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES:
    • Ability to maintain high levels of individual and team performance by driving the achievement of goals, targets and financial objectives
    • Ability to adhere to rules and regulations, follow instructions and limit risk of non-compliance to the business
    • Ability to encourage and develop others to pro-actively build talent capacity and create opportunities to address current and future development needs
    • Ability to create shared meaning by clearly and confidently communicating the relevant information to a decision or task, in a verbal format
    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Generating production reports
    • Producing short term plans and facilitating the execution of such plans
    • Liaising with the operations team to deliver on mine planning operational needs
    • Mine Planning – Short term – Medium term
    • Mine Scheduling
    • Conducting reconciliation between planned and mined areas
    • Facilitating and conducting the pre-mining risk assessment process
