    AMANDLA is the developer of the Safe-Hub model, which establishes a world-class infrastructure in disadvantaged communities, providing a physically and emotionally safe space where young people access services, opportunities and support from strong role models through sports-based programmes that focuses on health, safety, education, and employability.

    Job Scope

    Own development, and drive the implementation of, AMANDLA’s Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) system for use by Safe-Hub, Collective Impact partners and Leadership.
    Ensure staff at Safe-Hubs and partner organisations are capacitated to implement MEL activities at using good practice and that the MEL Coordinator is providing the support required to all programme and partner staff.
    Develop reports that analyse programme implementation, effectiveness, and efficiency. Establish and manage partner relationships with relevant external entities.
    Education/Equivalent:

    Grade 12 / equivalent
    Post-graduate degree related to Monitoring and Evaluation
    Computer Literacy – MS Office, Excel, Google Suite (beneficial), SPSS (or equivalent) (beneficial)
    Experience:

    Minimum 3 years’ experience in managing MEL systems
    Experience in coordinating data collection at multiple sites
    Experience in data management and analysis
    Experience in report writing
    Experience in facilitation and presentation
    Experience in capacity development
    Experience in coordinating and managing a team
    Soft Skills:

    Leadership skills
    Very good interpersonal skills
    Self-motivated and strong initiative
    Good communications skills
    Ability to work under pressure
    Good organizational skills.
    Sound negotiation skills.
    Numeracy and accuracy.
    Time-Management: Manage deadlines efficiently, making sure that everything is on time and moving smoothly.
    Ability to work overtime when required
    Passion for youth development.
    Remuneration:
    Negotiable based on experience
