  • An international Industrial manufacturinf company is seeking an experienced National Sales manager for South Africa
     
    Requirements
    Sales Guru, <-COLOR:#FFFF00">with strong leadership skills. Entrepreneurial. Driven.
    Client requires a <-COLOR:#FFFF00">detailed CV including a photo , and for candidates to complete an online candidate assessment before interview stage.
    The findings of the assessment provide the opportunity for candidates to present themselves and sell their qualities to senior management. They also form the basis for our 90 days introduction program for the candidates selected. If the assessment is not completed or the assessment result is not a recommended result we will not progress with the candidate.
    Age - client has not specified age as yet (they may do so by the end of the week), but the culture is generally described as young and dynamic - so possibly between the <-COLOR:#FFFF00">ages of 35 and 40 or so.
     
    National Sales Manager - Job Summary / Description
    The client is looking for a candidate with a 100% sales management DNA (Sales Guru).
    Must be young, dynamic, enthusiastic, and most of all, a result-driven man or woman who enjoy sales and sales management,
    Must be driven by results and have the skills to not only be a top-seller in a B2B environment themselves, but also to motivate others in a sales management role.
    MUST have a proven track record in sales and sales management.
    Candidates that have the potential �€� in addition to the sales management duties and responsibilities �€� to also take the position of Managing Director (to lead the small but dedicated team in South Africa to the next level of success.)
    Must know and understand the value of Sales Activity Management.
    Must be Entrepreneurial - so as to be able to run the South Africa subsidiary as if it were his or her own company.
    Someone with an entrepreneurial spirit and attitude and a proven track record in successfully managing and growing a small sales force while significantly increasing revenue in a highly competitive market.
    Must be a leader and manager - so he/she must excel at sales coaching, motivation and accountability, recruiting winners, and maintaining positive morale.
    Strong on business Development - so must focus on filling and managing the sales pipeline, delivering revenue, finding new business and maintaining and growing existing accounts.
    Have excellent communication and computer skills
    Must embrace technology and have sales leadership presence.
    Comfortable as part of the executive team and driven and accountable for achieving agreed upon goals.
    Candidate must be willing to take the opportunity to do what is needed to grow the business and consequently our organization in South Africa. This requires the skills and discipline one may expect from a dedicated, result-driven Sales Manager with the potential to become Managing Director.
     
    Requirements
    Qualification - Preferably Degree in Sales / Marketing / Business Management
    Years of experience - at least 5-6 years in a sales management role , of which  2 -3 years should preferably be in a B2B environment
    Industry experience - preferably manufacturing, or production space - particularly related to efficiency and safety products and/or services (eg Lubrications or related products) in the Transport sector, or Logistics sector, or earthmoving and construction or railway and/or agriculture sector
     
    Gender - Open
    Race - Open (but EE Preferred)
    Salary - Between R25 000 to R35 000 dependent on experience and, a company car, cellphone, laptop, 8% company contribution to provident fund aid and 50% contribution to medical aid. They also offer a variable salary in the form of commission per deal and an Incentive Compensation (bonus), related to a number of objective and subjective goals, set for each year.
