    Job Description

    Purpose of the position: Liaising with Company Clients and marketing new clients. Ensure that clients are satisfied with overall services Distribute Company information to clients on request (Practice notes) Co-ordinate CME: Continuing Medical Education. Presentation on Company information system to the clients Coordination of VCT’s : Voluntary Counselling & Testing and ASISA Train and deem staff competent Responsibilities: Contributes to planning and developing a marketing strategy for Company in order to promote the image, brand awareness and services of the organisation. Establishes and maintains effective relations and personal contact with existing and prospective clients including medical doctors at hospitals and in private practice, hospital managers and hospital marketers as well as key suppliers and service providers to ensure loyalty to the Company brand. Proactively marketing and selling company services to existing and prospective customers to grow Company”s market share. Participates in and represents Company in marketing events such as CME events, medical aid days and hospital open days to promote the image and services of the organisation. Assists with product/service orientation and training of laboratory administrative staff to ensure they are familiarised with relevant laboratory/medical technology related terminology and telephone etiquette. Services as first point of contact between Company and customers to address a range of queries and complaints pertaining to laboratory services in order to ensure swift resolution of issues and feedback to customers. Providing a feedback loop to all departments within their territory to ensure maintenance of high levels of customer service Ensuring local routes are profitable and reporting challenges to the relevant managers Performing feasibility studies on intended new routes/areas for business Correlating reports from sites Ensuring staff adhere to SANAS requirements Qualification and Requirements Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business or Life sciences Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in similar role, experience in medical, pharmaceutical and laboratory sales and marketing. Sound understanding of business practices and principles. Valid driver’s license code 8 or 10, (Own reliable vehicle) Computer proficiency (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) Communication& negotiation (verbal and written) Innovative, Leadership and Decision-making skills Analytical and problem-solving skills



    Inherent Requirements

    Position is based in Amanzimtoti. Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business or Life sciences Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in similar role, experience in medical, pharmaceutical and laboratory sales and marketing. Sound understanding of business practices and principles. Valid driver’s license code 8 or 10, (Own reliable vehicle) Computer proficiency (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
