  • Introduction: We are looking to appoint a General Manger to actively participate with our existing clients however the successful applicant will primarily be tasked with developing new business in all territories in South Africa and in Botswana. Our company is an Accredited Territory Partner for an international technology company and your sales drive is supplemented and supported by a network which has a successful sales track record in 34 countries.
    We sell state of the art technology equipment and productivity software into niche markets some of which are in the transport and logistics industry but with strong bias towards these 3 niche sectors; namely mining, off road self-drive safari operators, and specialized fuel management systems for heavy transport industry.
    Job Functions: Sales Manager with GM Responsibilities

    Specification: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    Hands-on Sales and GM responsibilities
    •Work with our experienced team to actively grow and strengthen our existing clients in our existing business.
    •Take-on responsibility of developing new business in well identified new niche markets namely selling proven specialized fuel management systems to clients in heavy vehicle transport industry.
    •Build a strong recurring revenue base for the business to improve operating profits for rewarding your sales efforts.
    Requirements: PRE-REQUISITES ANS COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
    •Minimum of 5 experience selling technology equipment and software in productivity applications with a bias towards selling CANbus fuel management systems.
    •Ability to pioneer and actively selling technical biased applications in the niche markets already identified.
    •Conversant with Smart Phone / Tablet (Android) Technlogy.CV which supports these pre-requisites and suitable reference of your capabilities and success in technology driven application selling.
    •Suitable qualifications and or hands on experience in selling productivity specific technologies
    Reward and Job: The reward is a fixed retainer for the first 6 months of employment which is supplemented with an immediate allocation of company shares. The company share incentive is also structured on a phased-in allocation of additional earned-out shares which is directly indexed to performance and success.
