  • Company based in Midrand, has an immediate requirement for a Payroll Administrator with solid VIP skills. Must be able to commence employment immediately.
     
    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    Will be required to administer the entire payroll functions and payroll reporting
    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
    National Diploma/Degree in Accounting/Payroll
    3 -5 years relevant experience in Payroll as well as extensive knowledge of the VIP system
    Experience in completing / controlling timesheets
    An aptitude for arithmetic will be an advantage
    INHERENT JOB REQUIREMENTS
    Literate in both written and spoken English (essential)
    Numerate (figure orientated) �€� attention to detail and accuracy is essential
    General office experience, specifically excellent filing and record keeping skills
    Experience on electronic VIP Payroll system
    Good telephone skills
    Good organizational skills
    Ability to interact with all employees
    JOB DESCRIPTION
    To administer the full salaried payroll with the following functions but not limited to:
    Administer the assigned monthly payrolls to final sign-off as well as implementation of legislative changes, Workman�€�s Compensation and annual payroll Audit.
    Update payroll with medical aid deductions and reconcile monthly pension and provident fund bills with payroll deductions
    Compiling and submitting all necessary returns, i.e. PAYE, pension contributions, medical aid, UIF, garnishees, etc.
    HR administration:
    Opening and closing of employee files, maintenance of HR files
    Maintain all employee files, leave rosters, salary information
    Finalising all documentation required for employee terminations
    Update and keep updated all employee records
    Data capturing related to new appointments, transfers, promotions, leave, garnishees, medical aid, etc.
    Validate all HR documents for correctness and completeness
