    RESPONSIBILITIES :

    * Responsible for wages and salaries and the preparation and processing of weekly and monthly payroll.

    *Review, capture and ensure accuracy of approved timesheets, overtime and time & attendance information.

    *Responsible for the administration of the electronic timekeeping system.

    * Manage and reconcile applicable payroll deductions and 3rd party payments including garnishments, etc.

    * Preparation/distribution of detailed payroll reports e.g. labour hours, overtime, leave balances, head count, and retirement contribution reports, etc.

    * Preparation of statuary reports and submissions.

    * Loading of new employees and terminations from the Payroll System.

    * PAYE and other statutory and regulatory reconciliations and reporting.

    * Pension/Provident Fund and Medical Aid reconciliations.

    * Reconciliation and Payment of Sub-contractors.

    * Leave management – Including capturing of leave and maintaining a leave forms filing system.

    * Providing payslips to all employees (electronic format and print format).

    * Address any staff pay queries or information requests.

    * Remain up to date on all legislative and industry requirements.

    Maintain employee confidence, protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential

    REQUIREMENTS :

    3+ payroll experience

    Matric

    Credit and Criminal Clear

    Diploma/Degree related to field

    Exceptional working knowledge of Sage VIP Payroll System, preferably Sage VIP Premier Payroll and HRM
