    We are looking for a zealous young Personal Assistant to join their team to support the Managing Director and administrative support to the teams. You will provide high-quality administrative and clerical assistance to top-level executives. The Personal Assistant's main duties include with a strong emphasis on diary management, making travel arrangements/events and organizing daily calendars. To be successful in this role, you should be proactive, meet deadlines and communicate effectively. Our ideal candidate must have previous experience as a Personal Assistant and is familiar with office management duties and responsibilities. Ultimately, you should be able to identify and address the needs of senior managers and Executives and perform administrative tasks to ensure workflows run smoothly. RESPONSIBILITIES • Acting as the point of contact between executives and employees/clients. This means coordinating the signature of contracts, motivations for expenditure, purchase overrides and the prioritization of tasks requiring Managing Director attention • Diary management and meeting prioritization. • Liaising with suppliers • Client relation • Ordering of stationery, promotional items and other items as required. • Travel bookings - domestic and International flights, accommodation, car hire. • Catering refreshments for the Executive and guests where required and coordinating of bookings. • General office communications and management. REQUIRED SKILLS • High level of PC literacy (MS Office, Outlook) • Knowledge of basic financial/accounting concepts • Excel intermediate • Basic accounting knowledge • Problem solver • Leadership skills • Matric minimum requirement; additional qualifications as Personal Assistant or Secretary are a plus. • Proven work experience as a Secretary, Events Manager/ Travel Agent or similar role. • Knowledge of office procedures. • Solid experience with office management systems, SAP and MS Office. • Familiarity with online calendars and cloud systems. • Strong communication skills (via phone, email and in-person). • Experience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive company information. • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritize work.
