  • Specification

    Transporting of patients within the Hospital
    Attend to all patients and Customers’ needs in professional manner.
    Complete the discharge process, as and when necessary.
    Capture all the required patient information on admission accurately.
    Escorting visitors/patients to the wards
    Ensuring a good public image.
    Attend to all patients and customer’s needs in a professional manner
    Escalate problem admission to the unit manager casualty as and when these occur to avoid a negative customer experience.
    Maintain patient confidentiality in all daily duties
    Run other Hospital errands delegated by line manager/Hospital Management.
    Complete pre-admissions and pre-authorizations and capture information on the SAP system, outside of peak admitting times. This includes completing the Patients Master index (FMI) in full with authorization/reference numbers. ICD codes (where available), diagnosis (where relevant) and any other relevant comments
    Complete ad-hoc general administration, as required by the Reception Supervisor, for example answering of hospital telephone in the absence of the switchboard operator.
    Provide medical scheme registration forms, on instruction from the Reception supervisor.
    Collaborate with the Reception/Admission team to ensure an efficient and well-organized admissions process for all customers.


    Requirements

    Grade 12 or equivalent level of education. 
    1-year experience.
    Experience within private hospital environment advantageous.
