    Job Description
    International firm of Consulting Engineers is looking to appoint 2 Principal Environmental Consultants in their Durban office.
    Minimum Requirements:
    Post-graduate (Honours or Masters) degree in the environmental sciences (e.g. Environmental Management / Science)
    8 years’ environmental consulting / management experience.
    Key Responsibilities:
    Involvement in Key projects: - Project management / director role in key projects; which would encompass inter alia the following aspects: bidding, technical, client authority and stakeholder management, internal and external resourcing (e.g. specialists), logistics planning, budgeting and QAQC.
    Project Support Role: - Supporting consultants at all levels in terms of technical and environmental guidance, input into strategic decisions, client management, resolving complex and potentially challenging issues.
    Guidance and Mentorship: - Provision of support to consultants in terms of technical mentorship, and career development.
    Business Development and Client Relationship Management: - Contribution to the company business development strategy in terms of identifying market and service opportunities & potential clients; a s well as participating in business development initiatives e.g. meetings, presentations & networking events.
    Administration: - Undertaking of all required administrative functions in accordance with the company procedures and timetables e.g. financial reporting and forecasting, invoicing, assisting with the debt management process, expense and timesheet submissions
