  • Our client requires the services of a suitably qualified, well-motivated and results driven Procurement Administrator to be appointed in Gauteng. To focus on creating a centralised repository for all supplier contracts so that the risk can be better managed
    Position Description
    Key Performance Areas
    ·         Responsible for low spend categories
    ·         Preparation of RFI’s/RFQ’s/RFP’s for low spend categories
    ·         Assist the Group Procurement Manager adjudicate tenders
    ·         Assist BU procurement personnel with tenders to meet business requirements, incl tender specifications.
    Procurement databases
    ·         Assist with data collation and spend analysis
    ·         Collate divisional BU’s monthly procurement dashboard
    ·         Manage the group database for all supplier contracts
    ·         Manage the group supplier database
    ·         Administrate the supplier approval system
    Procurement improvement programmes
    ·         Assist the Group Procurement Manager with running group procurement programmes including but not limited to:
    o    Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment
    o    Value standards (savings)
    o    Supplier rationalisation;
    o    Driving policy framework throughout the group and
    Achieving the Group Functional Standards
    Minimum Requirements
    Focus on creating a centralised repository for all supplier contracts so that the risk can be better managed
    ·         Proficient with excel, Microsoft Office. Prefer experience with a purchasing system
    ·         Experience negotiating and managing purchasing activities
    Understanding of BBBE Codes and Preferential Procurement requirements
